Food Noise
Fat Virus Theory, expanded
My theory is pretty simple.
50 or so years ago, two bird viruses, SMAM-1 and AD-36, started migrating from chickens to humans.
These viruses cause a series of changes. The most important one being disabling a key part of the body’s appetite regulation signaling system, creating a new sensation called “food noise.”
Food noise being a persistent and cerebral desire to eat that isn’t meaningfully reduced by eating food, and is a distinct subjective sensation than other forms of hunger like specific food/nutrient cravings, thirst, stress eating cravings, emotional eating cravings, and stomach rumbling traditional hunger.
The virus most likely “disables” GLP-1 receptors somehow, causing the “food noise” sensation.
These diseases also alter the bodies metabolic and fat cell regulatory pathways in such a way that promotes fat cell accumulation.
Removing these two bird-viruses can feasibly reduce morbid obesity by 80%, and reduce standard obesity by 20%. More specifically, it can turn 80% of morbidly obese people into regularly obese people, and make every regular obese person 20% more lean.
I am only using the numbers 80% and 20% to illustrate that I believe these two bird viruses are the primary driver of morbid obesity, and a significant (but not the only) driver of regular obesity.
These two viruses can be killed off by chemicals found in certain herbs, the most powerful herb being white mulberry.
If the global public knows about white mulberry extract and SMAM-1 and AD-36, it is one of the ways we can actually turn the tide against obesity.
Expansion on Food Noise
This reddit thread details people’s experiences with food noise.
How I came up with it
AD-36 antibodies are found in much higher concentrations in fat people, with one study showing that 30% of obese participants had antibodies, while only 11% of lean participants had antibodies.
I believe GLP-1 is the main driver of the “food noise” sensation because people on Ozempic, which chemically acts as GLP-1, report a “muting” of the food noise sensation.
This paper shows that mulberry extract reduces weight in AD-36 patients.
This documentary showcases the work of the original scientist, Nikhil Dhurandhar, who discovered AD-36 and SMAM-1, and how it originally was discovered that infected chickens gained large amounts of fat relative to other chickens, and how obese humans have antibodies for these two bird viruses.
I didn’t watch this documentary, but if you rip the transcript off of youtube with notegpt.io, you can get the gist of it very quickly. I prefer reading to watching.
This wired.com article from a decade ago does a much deeper dive on Nikhil Dhurandhar’s work on how AD-36/SMAM-1 causes obesity. If you need access to it, dm me. It tells the story of a farmboy who was always skinny until he got cut by a chicken. It’s an incredible article that explains it very well.
Amazon reviews for white mulberry extracts show a reduction in hunger and increased fullness in some users.
And finally, my two friends who tried white mulberry reported their food noise going away, and being able to eat and feel full effortlessly with less food. Pizza cravings gone, and feeling full with small portions.
All of this evidence knit together into my theory that bird viruses cause obesity through food noise via GLP-1 receptor disabling, and the answer is to take white mulberry.
If this theory is true, it makes an incredibly strong case for optimism. White mulberry extract can be the first domino which helps restore the health and soul of the American people.
In the meantime, I’m going to keep asking people to try white mulberry.

Interesting. I always assumed "food noise" was just "extremely strong cravings." That's certainly what it sounds like in e.g. that reddit thread.
I had that for most of my life until I tried keto, and even on keto it wasn't 100% gone all the time as I did keto over nearly a decade, which was probably why I gained 100lbs back lol.
It's been nearly entirely gone since I started the ex150 heavy cream diet.
The virus/mulberry thing is interesting. I think there are also other, different mechanisms besides GLP-1 that could be at play, maybe something something leptin/ghrelin, but who knows.
Is there a test for these viruses that people could do?
